     when?  Who in Red Bean knows you in real life, so we could ask

JimB gave me an account on totoro when he got it; I mainly used it
when I was visiting my parents in Oberlin when he was actually in
Oberlin, or when we were all arguing about that mythical editor.

Honestly, there's no reason for my account to stay active; on the
other hand, I don't actually use your resources much at all (there's
a meg of stuff in my account that could get gotten rid of), and I do
try to be conscientious about stuff like changing my password there on 
a regular basis (or at least as regular a basis as I change my
password on other accounts), so I don't think there's any reason to
inactivate it, either.  Besides, that way if one of you folks wants to 
e-mail me and has no idea where I am, you can e-mail me at red-bean
and it will work.

  1. Do you use Red Bean as your primary email address and/or primary
     Web server (i.e., is your home page here)?


Nope; these days, I'm <carlton@math.stanford.edu> and
<http://math.stanford.edu/~carlton/>.

  2. Do you know anything about Unix system administration?

I don't particularly mind giving you this, but on the other hand I use 
red bean machines so little that you will never need to reach me that
